“Lose Your Mind”

by

Getting confused is very easy

All you have to do is intoxicate yourself with a sense of right and wrong

And then hate yourself for it.

The less I care, the less I form my mind

  • The less I measure myself
  • …The less I even want

I can’t conceptualize sanity if I never give a care

I seek oblivion of doubt

Hey

What is the point of judgement anyway?

Or casting your thought unto irreverent masses?

Don’t we know our time here is limited

And that your brain will poison your soul

Given every opportunity

One day we’ll be old and gross.

One day, our memories will be too weak to hold grudges

One day, our lungs won’t be able to muster words

Hey again

What are you taking to your grave?

What will be your legacy?

Can you smile at your enemies and mean it?

Can you smile at all?

Lose your mind before life takes it from you

Lose your mind before you dig yourself a hole
