“The Great Myth”

by

At length, tell me this

Am I the reason you exist?

Doth mind conceive life’s image thus?

The veiled façade,

The sussurus?

I slept for weeks in somber ways

Until I saw the tears waylaid

By evidence I have made the Earth:

Inter-consciousness planetoid birth.

The stagnant rock  in river flow:

The products of the lone ego.

Of meat and bone, of dirt and root

And soul and sound: cerebral fruit.

I saw to it- the world pristine.

With dimethyltryptamine.

Within the mind-

Writhing with youth-

There is but me: the eternal truth.
